2. I am trying to connect the DVR using ADSL (or cable) modem,
but having difficulties because of the continuously changing IP.
If you are trying to connect your DVR using dynamic IP provided by ISP (KT, Hanaro, Thrunet, Powernet, etc), you could connect using EDNS (Emstone Domain Name System) provided by us. Given the DVR can be accessed by connecting the Internet:
Step 1
On the DVR settings please go to [Config] -> [Network]
Step 2
Activate Dynamic DNS, and enter the desired DVR name in the Domain name section. (Combination of alphabets and numbers only)
Step 3
Type in the DVR name you have allocated + dvrhost.net into Internet Explorer and you will be able to use it in dynamic IP environment.
Step 4
To view the video image please enter the USER ID/PASSWORD once the Active-X download is completed.
